2015 St Georges Day
Wonderful day with most of our members taking part. The winners of the fancy dress were Bryan Hughes and Sheila Nuttall.
There were sixteen pairs playing against each other and at the end of six and twelve ends, the winners of the match moved up a rink and the loser stayed put. The winners were Terry Rodgers & John Compton.
Straight after the games the raffle was done and thanks to Sandra Brown and Eileen Phoenix for running this lucrative income for us.
Special thanks to Sandra Brown in her usual efficient way ensuring our buffet is arranged.
During the afternoon a presentation for our resident entertainment manager, John Lodge took place for all he has done over the years to give us so much fun. We wish him all the best for the future.
John Fitzgerald then did the presentation of the wonderful trophy made by Ron Lloyd and thanked everyone supporting the day, including the bar and catering staff.
