Interested in playing for Almeria Lawn Bowling Club?
All those able to play bowls are welcome. You might have never been on a bowling green, however we are a club who is willing to help you learn the game. If you have played and would like to join us, or want to learn, we welcome you. If you like to try the game to see that it is what you want?
Contact as above and it will be mutually arranged for you to have a maximum three free sessions with a competent experience club member. You must wear bowls shoes or non-tread flat shoes. We will supply the bowls and it would be nice for you to comply with our standard of dress which is, white tops and white shorts or trousers. However during this learning period this will be waived. At the end of the three sessions if you would like to continue bowling you are expected to join the club.

What do you get when you are a member?
Our roll up days when members play games against each other in disciplines of pairs, triples, and fours dependant on numbers attending are on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday’s. We have a packed fixture list for club competitions and often have visiting teams from UK and Spain. The majority of these competitions take place during the UK winter period from September to May. However roll ups and some competitions take place in the remaining months.

What fees do you pay to become a member?
Membership fees per annum are for a single man or lady 220 euro. For a couple 380 euro. Both of these there is a one off membership fee of 50 euro. Social member 60 euro. There are other fees if you would like to join temporary for various periods of day, week, month etc.
